John B. Yingling, A.A.I. President, CFO

After graduating from Towson University in 1971 and having worked in the financial services industry, John joined Crawford-Cash Inc. in 1976. In 1983 he became president of Crawford Insurance. In 1995 he earned the Accredited Advisory of Insurance designation (A.A.I.). John is past president of the Carroll County Association of Independent Insurance Agents, serving on the board of the Independent Insurance Agents of Maryland, Inc. He is currently the treasurer of the Greater Westminster Development Corporation, serves on the Board of Carroll Hospital Center and is senior member of the Westminster Kiwanis Club. He also serves on the Legislative Committee for the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. John specializes in business, automobile and homeowners accounts.

Benjamin Yingling, CLCS

Benjamin Yingling, John’s son, has recently joined the company as the fourth generation of this family business. Ben spent three years with a large agency in Hunt Valley where he focused on life, health, long term care, disability insurance and investment consulting. He recently received his Property and Casualty license and continues learning under the direction of his father. Ben is eager to uphold the values that have allowed the firm to attract, service and retain its clients for multiple generations. He specializes in business insurance, auto, home and life insurance. Ben sits on the Board of Directors for the Carroll County Chamber Of Commerce,  and is a board governor for the Loyola Blakefield Alumni Association.  He is involved with the McDaniel College’s Young Alumni Gold Committee, as well as the Carroll Hospital Golf Committee.  Ben is also an active Rotarian.  In his free time you can find Ben on the golf course, at McDaniel football games, or playing lacrosse.

Jill Cornwell

Jill Cornwell joined the company in September 2011. Prior to joining Crawford Insurance Jill spent 35 years In the financial services industry working in branch sales and service. She graduated from The Maryland Bankers School in 1989. Jill received her Property and Casualty license in December 2011.  Jill recently completed Selective Insurance’s Commercial Lines Program and will be handling business accounts.
